Cross Country

On Monday, we had cross country. I was nervous and excited at the same time. I was kinda scared because I was the only year eight girl running, but luckily the year 7 girls were running with me as well.

When we started running, I could hear people already cheering for us. The year Seven and Eights all had to do, three laps of the big field, twice around the domain, and then twice around the big field again. It was so exhausting. I ended up walking a lot of the run.

Since I was the only Year 8 girl running, I automatically won first. I was sad that I didn't really compete anyone, but at least I got a gold medal!

We often share personal information when we are online. The people we share with could be our friends and family or people we don't know. We need to make smart decisions about what personal information we share online.

Holidays

On the last week of the holidays, my dad and I went to Hanmer Springs for three days. And we stayed in a really nice house with a fireplace. 

When we unpacked everything we decided to bike to a mini golf. It was really challenging, because the ball kept on rolling back down the hill. And unfortunately I lost the game, but I still had a lot of fun.

The next day we went to the pools in the morning. I went on the waterslides a lot, especially the dark slide. At lunchtime we got out and went on an awesome bike track, it had beautiful scenery.

After dinner we went back to the pools. It was so cool. The pools had awesome lights in them. It looked even better in the lazy river.

On Friday we pretty much packed and went home and relaxed. I can't wait until we can go back again.
